Harold Sutcliffe & Horace Sutcliffe
Harold and Horace were twin brothers (who can be seen in the painting above). Harold is sat on the left and Horace on the right. The twin brothers were together throughout the war. Harold unfortunately didn’t make it home, he was injured by a shrapnel wound to the chest and sadly passed with his twin brother by his side 23:45 27th November 1917. Lest we forget.
